Question 1

What is Mera Khet?

Accepted Answer

A free daily card for your own farm: whether to irrigate, which disease risk today's weather raises, what stage the crop is at and what to inspect. It works for onion, tomato, soybean, wheat, chana, mustard, garlic and potato.

Question 2

Where does the advice come from?

Accepted Answer

From published thresholds of ICAR institutes and agricultural universities, applied to the weather forecast for your farm. Every rule carries its source. It is beta advice, not a diagnosis.

Question 3

Does Mera Khet tell me which pesticide to spray?

Accepted Answer

No. It tells you what to inspect and when. Before using any chemical or fertiliser, ask your KVK or the Kisan Call Centre (1800-180-1551, free).

Question 4

Is my farm data saved anywhere?

Accepted Answer

Your farm details and diary stay on your phone. Only if you turn on the evening alert are the crop, sowing date and a rounded location saved, to send that alert. Nothing is sold or shared.

Question 5

What is the evening alert?

Accepted Answer

An optional phone notification the evening before a storm, heavy rain, frost or a high disease risk for your crop, so you can prepare in time.
